Back in 1991, the author was invited to visit and to write about, photograph, and film what the Soviet Union had to offer American tourists and hunters.
That first trip led to 22 years of travel back and forth to the former Soviet Union, now Russia. Travelling with the author on later trips were such dignitaries as Apollo Astronaut Jim McDivitt, who was stalked by a bear, and four-star Air Force General Earl O’Loughlin, who previously flew spy plane missions over the Soviet Union, which made for an interesting confrontation with the KGB!
